This Wednesday, a female customer came into friendz. She looked through the store merchandise and set her eyes upon a small coffee bear gift box.
After some time, I found out that she was looking for a gift box to contain a gift she has. She selected one of the boxes of coffee bear range. She requested me to fold the box for her. This box is a new stock that came in just 2 weeks ago. I encountered difficulties helping her.
I decided to practice with the sample box. I disassembled it and at the same time learn how to assemble the box. This took me more than five minutes, but the customer was very patient. I thanked her for her patience and understanding as that was my first time assembling a box from scratch.
From this incident, I learned that customers’ time is precious. We should be appreciative towards our customers if they are willing to wait for us as they are not obligated to. Furthermore, I need to improve on my product knowledge.
